Lightwork The Portraitist
With an immense love for portraiture Lightwork has honed her skills in capturing the human form with precision and emotion. Her portraits are not just a physical representation of her subjects but a window into their souls evoking a sense of connection and understanding. She brings her subjects to life using charcoal, soft pastels and pencil creating timeless pieces that showcase the beauty of being black and brown.
Her art has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions including Mansion 731 and Earthtone at All People’s Art. In addition to her drawings, Lightwork has assisted with public art projects, including the Linden Murals of Empowerment and The Walt Neil mural restoration project.
Above all, she aspires for her journey to inspire creatives to follow their passions and contribute their unique piece to the mosaic of life.
